  • confirmation of whether you have been awarded any credit from prior learning or work experience
  • any conditions associated with your offer.

  1. Submit final documentation

If the above criteria do apply to you, send the necessary documentation to Royal  Gateway. This includes:

  • completing the Acceptance form attached to your letter of offer
  • certified evidence of meeting any conditions specified in your offer, where applicable
  • a letter of guarantee from your sponsoring organisation, where applicable.

  1. Send payment:
  • You’ll then submit payment for the required deposit as outlined in your Letter of Offer.

  1. Lodge your student visa application:
  • Once you’ve submitted your documentation and payment, you’ll be issued your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). This will enable you to Apply for a student visa.

Please note: You may be required to be assessed for eligibility as a GTE or Genuine student, and may be required to submit a financial declaration and attend an interview.

Credit Transfer

If you have received an offer for a course at Royal Gateway and have previously completed vocational and/or tertiary study, you may be eligible for credit.

Certain academic conditions may apply to your offer, like completing your current studies. It’s important that you provide evidence of meeting these prior to or at the time of accepting your
offer.

Credit for previous studies

If you are eligible for credit into your course, this will be reflected in your Letter of Offer.

If you didn’t request assessment for credit when you submitted your application, you can still apply for credit.

You need to do this before teaching begins for the subjects that would be covered by your
credit.

Important: If the duration of your course changes, you must notify the Department of Home Affairs. This includes if you receive credit after your student visa has been granted.

More information

Visit the Department of Home Affairs website for further information on your level of assessment, as well as information about bringing your family, extending your stay and working while studying.

If English language conditions apply to your offer, you must send evidence of your English test results to Royal Gateway before or when you accept your offer.
The Australian Department of Home Affairs additionally requires students to provide a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score proof as part of the student visa
